The Ikan Homestream Smartphone Teleprompter for DSLR/Mirrorless/Phone with Bluetooth Remote is a portable teleprompting solution that uses your smartphone as the prompter display. Weighing about 350g, the prompter features a 70/30 beamsplitter glass for clear text that isn't visible on the camera image. It is suitable for use mounted directly on the lens of your DSLR or mirrorless camera, and the included clamp allows you to use a variety of smartphones as the taking camera instead. The teleprompter utilizes any Android or iOS smartphone running the downloadable Homestream teleprompter app, or any other teleprompting app.
The setup is quick and easy, with a clamp ready to accept your smartphone from 4.2 x 2.3" to 7 x 3.5" as the text display device. The Homestream prompter hood with beamsplitter glass holds the display device and slides onto your lens using one of the included step up rings that thread onto your lens. If you are shooting with a smartphone as the taking camera, the included clamp allows you to mount the hood and glass on a smartphone up to the size of an iPhone 11 Pro. An included Bluetooth remote that pairs with your phone is included, providing you the option to easily edit text in the app or copy and paste your script directly into the app.
