The MagStor LT08 HH SAS Internal Tape Drive 12TB LTFS is an LTO8 internal tape drive designed for the MagStor series 1 RU, or a 5.25" SAS enclosure that supports tape drives. It supports both TAR and LTFS formats with compatible third-party software that supports IBM LTO8 tape drives. This drive connects to your host Windows 10 or macOS 10.11+ system using an SAS-2 6 Gb/s SFF-8088 interface and supports LTO8 media with a native capacity of 12TB with read/write speeds of up to 300 MB/s. It is backward compatible with LTO7 media with a native capacity of 6TB and read/write speeds of up to 300 MB/s.
