The Canon DP-V1711 is a 17-inch UHD 4K reference display designed for portable use on set, ideal for both broadcast and cine-style UHD 4K video productions. It supports resolutions up to 4K60p through 12G/HD/SD-SDI or HDMI connections. The display features an IPS screen allowing wide off-axis viewing, and its aluminium chassis ensures durability for everyday production challenges. The LED panel delivers consistent brightness, matching the standard set by other models in Canon's reference display lineup. HDR capabilities include a split-screen function for HDR/SDR and support for Canon Log/2/3, HDR EOTFs, Hybrid Log-Gamma (BT.2100), SMPTE ST 2084, and ACES.


17-inch 4K UHD with 19-inch rack mount

The 17-inch 3,840 x 2,160 IPS LCD panel with a 178° wide viewing angle features a Canon-designed innovative LED backlight system and is a perfect fit for EIA 19-inch rack mount


12G-SDI and advanced interfaces

4 x 12G-SDI interfaces can accept 4 channel 4K inputs from a variety of sources in Studio and OB Vans. Additionally, current Quad 3G-SDI inputs for 4K are supported, along with 4K/50P signals via HDMI


Extensive HDR functions

A built-in HDR-capable Waveform Monitor, HDR False colour, HDR-SDR split screen and image brightness monitoring functions ensure consistency of HDR reference levels

 

When processing raw footage from a Canon C300 Mark II or C700/500, the DP-V1711 performs the debayering function internally, eliminating the need for a debayering unit to display the raw footage. Support for up to eight 1D-LUTs lets you see an approximation of your graded footage's appearance. Additional features include Shape Tracing for artifact minimization, two-sample interleaving, 2/4 split-screen mode, 4x and 8x zoom, peaking, and fan shutdown during sound recording. Location shooting attributes include 7 RU/19" rack-mounting, serial and parallel remote control, a 3-colour tally, and a 12V DC power option.
