New speech-to-text transcription tools

Powered by Avid Ada, the Transcript Tool with PhraseFind™ gets expanded functionality to include both source and sequence transcription. Search for words or phrases through your source media or edits and make new and improved edit decisions quickly and easily. Display speaker ID and Timecode at any time, generate sequence subtitles automatically with a single click and share or archive transcriptions across workstations. PhraseFind™ is included with Media Composer Ultimate and Media Composer Enterprise, and is an option for Media Composer. In tandem with ScriptSync™, the pair offers the most feature-rich editorial tools for working with dialogue.

Improved Media Composer and Pro Tools Interoperability

Media Composer and Pro Tools, the two most trusted creative toolsets in postproduction, continue to grow more compatible than ever before. New in Media Composer is the ability to automate volume and pan information at the sub-frame level. In addition, Pro Tools 2024.6 can export Media Composer-specific session files that maintain crucial edit and mix metadata.
