Capture professional-quality video with the Sony PXW-Z750 4K Shoulder-Mount Broadcast Camera, which features a 3-chip 2/3" CMOS sensor that records up to UHD 4K, 3840 x 2160p resolution. The PXW-Z750 features a global shutter to prevent artifacts such as "jello" motion and flash banding, and it provides a compatible feature set for broadcast, news, documentary, and sports programming. Like its predecessor the PXW-Z450, the PXW-Z750 camcorder supports the Sony XAVC codec up to UHD 4K at 59.94p recording, up to 120 fps 1080p variable-motion recording, and it records using XAVC and MPEG H.264 formats. It's lighter than the PDW-700, so shoulder-mounted location shooting is made even easier. The high-quality XAVC-I codec allows you to record HDR quality video with 10-bit 4:2:2 color sampling, providing superior color depth and image quality.

Image Sensor

The PXW-Z750 incorporates a 3-chip 2/3" 4K CMOS sensor optical block with a wide color gamut that provides exquisite picture quality with true-to-life color reproduction, high sensitivity, and low noise level for a wide range of shooting scenarios.

Versatile B4 Lens Options

The 3-chip 2/3-type size sensor block of the Z750 matches the rugged B4 lens mount system, allowing you to use a wide variety of commercially available B4 4K/HD lenses. This flexibility supports a variety of shooting applications while reducing costs by leveraging your existing lens investments.

High Dynamic Range

PXW-Z750 can record HDR using Sony S-Log3 or Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG). The camera's wide color gamut supports extended Sony S-Gamut3 and S-Gamut3.Cine color spaces, as well as the industry-standard ITU-R BT.2020 color space.

Slow Motion

Ideal for sports and nature programs, the PXW-Z750 can acquire footage in 120 fps in Full HD for beautifully smooth, finely detailed slow-motion playback.

Cache Recording

Never miss a shot with advanced cache recording in 4K and Full HD modes. Pre-record up to 13-15 seconds in MPEG HD 422 50 (at 50/59.94 fps), giving you plenty of time to catch the action when it happens.

Embedded RJ45 Connector

This Ethernet connector provides a robust and fast connection to the network and can be utilized for file transfer, live streaming, and camera control from a web browser.

NFC (Near Field Communication) for Easy Wireless LAN Connection

An NFC function supports easy connection for launching the CBM (Content Browser Mobile) application on a smartphone or tablet. This means you can skip cumbersome setup procedures.

High Quality at Lower Bit Rates

As well as the established XAVC-I QFHD Class 300 4K and standard MPEG HD422 codecs, the PXW-Z750 also supports the latest generation XAVC-L422 QFHD 200 codec. Compressing Ultra HD 4K images with a LongGOP frame structure, this achieves significant bit rate savings over previous Intra Frame codecs while maintaining superb 4K image quality. Lower data rates increase recording times while reducing storage requirements. Uncompromised picture quality is ensured by 10-bit, 4:2:2 color sampling, making the PXW-Z750 ideal for HDR productions. A wide range of 4K codecs provide the flexibility to select the recording format that is best suited for the requirements of the production you are working on.

Fast Media Transfers

The PXW-Z750 supports latest-generation SxS Pro X media, enabling very high-speed file transfers at up to 10 Gb/s with the SBAC-T40 Thunderbolt 3 SxS card reader/writer. Transfers are approximately three times faster than previous generation media/reader combinations, dramatically accelerating workflows for any application and bringing down production costs.

Built-In Wireless Connectivity

Built-in wireless connectivity enables advanced workflow production features, including live-streaming, FTP transfer, and even remote control from a smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi. Wireless workflow is made even more efficient using XDCAM air, Sony's professional cloud service including dual-link cellular operation.

Wireless Audio Integration

PXW-Z750 is compatible with Sony's DWX series of digital wireless microphone systems offering ENG and documentary teams the benefits of an all-digital audio workflow, including robust end-to-end encryption for truly secure operation.

Optimized Weight Balance

Building upon its years of camera design, Sony has shifted the camcorder's center of gravity towards the back of the body to optimize the camcorder's weight balance.

Simultaneous Recording on Two SxS Cards

The PXW-Z450 Camcorder offers a simultaneous recording capability for peace-of-mind productions. Simultaneous recording is available on both SxS card slots as a backup measure. This is within the same codec and with the same operating point in the recording formats such as XAVC-Intra, XAVC-Long, MPEG HD422, or MPEG HD (420). You can also achieve simultaneous recording with a proxy file in all combinations with the above formats recording the proxy to an SD card.

GPS Functionality

On activation, the built-in GPS receiver module records GPS data in an MXF file and a proxy file, and it automatically imposes it on the live streaming signal. It is also useful for tracking shooting locations in post-production and when station-based staffs need to map a crew's location with the PWS-100RX1 Receiver for streaming.
