The Symply SymplyPRO Rack LTO-9 Thunderbolt 3 Rackmount Tape Drive System features a rugged 2 RU rackmount chassis supporting one or two full-height LTO-9 tape drives. Designed with SymplyCABLELESS technology each LTO drive can be user removed for incredible serviceability and easy upgrades while an integrated premium whisper-quiet fan and power supply provide a solution built for years of trouble-free service. Featuring two Thunderbolt 3 ports for daisy-chaining with one providing 60-watt fast device charging, SymplyPRO Rack also includes SAS Expansion and SAS Host connections in case you need to link other SAS devices to your Thunderbolt computer or use it with a non-Thunderbolt enabled workstation. The SymplyPRO Rack LTO-9 configurations can transfer up to 900 MB/sec per drive.

LTFS Support

SymplyDIT LTO configurations feature Linear Tape File System (LTFS) support. Allowing simple drag-and-drop file operation similar to a conventional hard drive. LTFS can reduce the need for backup or archive software, and allows users to easily interchange data using LTO cartridges or copying data to and from hard disk drives or SSDs.

SymplyATOM Software

SymplyATOM (Advanced Tape Operations and Management) is a feature rich software application included with SymplyDIT LTO that makes operation and maintenance easy. SymplyDIT LTO systems are also certified for use with popular backup and archive utilities for macOS and Windows including YoYotta, Hedge Canister, XenData, and Archiware P5.
