Sony has announced the v2.00 software release for the HXR-NX3 cameras. The big feature addition is XAVC-S support.
Below are the details for the update.
[Applicable model]: NXCAM Camcorder “HXR-NX3”, “HXR-NX3/1”
[Applicable system software version]: The applicable products are with the system software versions “Ver.1.03” or lower. To check the current version on the camera go to “MENU ->System -> Version”
After updating, the system software version will be “Ver.2.00”.
[Contents of update]
1. Recording/playback/output in XAVC S HD format .
2. HDMI REC CONTROL
3. Operation stability improvement
